Ahead lies a path full of bright blinding light
What’s to be found at the end of its road?

All my life I have felt driven by an inner restlessness
that makes me roam worlds to find
what might appease this hunger, hunger that I feel

It should be clear and visible and in full sight,
With whitened mirrors shining into my eyes

Here at this place I hoped that I could find
What lies dormant in me that never lets me rest,
Never arrive, been running round in circles

So I move on to find what brings me here, what am I looking for
With the direction still unclear, have I been here before?
I need to find out what I chase, what lies ahead unknown,
Where is my compass through this maze?

The needle of the compass turns
With unimpressed precision
Doesn’t care about light or darkness
But it can be deceived
So it has led me into nowhere

Who has misread the signs along the way

Night turns the way into a black empty lane
My questions bleed out into lightless vastness.
